Sertão International School will be an International Christian school located in the city of Quixadá, in the central drylands of Ceará. This school will be a pilot project, which in the future may be taken to other states or nations in need of education, community development and Jesus.
Officially registered in Brazil, in April 2022, Sertão International School is a non-profit organization and has no governmental ties.
In August 2023, we finalized the purchase of the land for the school, thanks to the support of individuals and churches who believe in this project!
In January 2025, we successfully raised all the funds needed for our land payments, as well as our architectural and engineering plans.
We are currently working on the architectural project and are now fundraising for the construction phase!
Our project is focused on integrating the biblical worldview into education. We believe that education must guarantee the development of students in all its dimensions – intellectual, physical, emotional, social, cultural and spiritual.
We understand that Christian education must provoke in the hearts of students the desire to serve God and influence others to do the same, making them agents of transformation in the world around them.
